So one night last week I had one of my favorite meals in recent memory: mashed potatoes.
But not just any mashed potatoes. No, these were mashed purple potatoes. They taste just like normal potatoes; they are just prettier.
When I eat potatoes as the main course, rather than as a side dish, I like to pile them up with lots of other delicious veggies. Broccoli, onions, and sliced tomatoes are just some of the things you can put on top of potatoes. I dare you to try this and then tell me that a potato loaded down with butter, cheese, and sour cream is better.
