I’ve always thought I have reasonably good fashion sense, especially in comparison to what I encounter out most of the time. However, this past summer I watched What Not To Wear on TLC pretty religiously and it really helped me to think more specifically about what I should wear and how I can use my wardrobe to my advantage. This summer I’ve also discovered the joys of thrifting so have been able to use that hobby to increase the size of my wardrobe without spending too much money.
Here is one of my favorite outfits that I’ve worn several times.
Shirt-Gap, Vest-Old Navy, Jeans-Gap, Belt-American Eagle, Shoes-American Eagle, Necklace-thrifted
I always think it’s important when going out, no matter where you’re going, to dress well. People will take you more seriously and treat you with more respect, whether you’re going to work and asking for help at the library. This outfit is good for when I want to be casual but still feel dressed up.
